Another school year
Okay, so I planning to update my journal over the summer since it seemed like high time to do so, but then I also wanted to learn css so I could actually do something with this piece of crap. I basically said, I'll update my journal when I learn css to make it all pretty and whatnot...
It didn't happen, and now another school year has started and that'll make me... not... do the things I want to do.
To sum up everything, last year was pretty awesome, not going to lie. I love photography, but currently I am too lazy to upload any of my photos also they're with a film camera and not digital so alas the upload quality will be, in a nutshell, shitty. I worked two jobs over the summer, and spent a lot of money on clothes. This year I'll be taking philosophy, design I and II, craft/design history, typography (hopefully), drawing for development/rendering, product design, and interactive design (basically digital stuff). I'll also be working part-time, which means a huge nay on free time.
In other news, I'm turning 19 soon, so I'll be even poorer than I was before because I can go to bars... And... Not drink. I wish I had a car as an incentive to not drink. It's a pretty expensive (and AWESOME) incentive though.
In terms of personal goals I'd like to learn how to illustrate and do comics, learn html and css so I can make a website, eat healthier (I've been slowly switching over to healthier foods this summer, but my eating habits are still in the shithole), and have some form of exercise. This last one is shaping up to be hot yoga...? We'll see, since that also costs money... And it's on Friday nights.
That just about sums up my life up to this point. Also, I've been trying to paint my apartment (another summer goal) but my landlord, though incredibly well-intentioned, is hiding from my telecommunicative wrath and not delivering paint. I'll probably stop making effort to contact him and get paint until Saturday. The juice is quickly becoming not worth the squeeze, and I've been squeezing hard, for a long time now, and I'm tired.
To end on a good note, I have now amassed 117 Prismacolor pencil crayons. Add 25 Verithins, and 12 metallics. My masterpiece collection!
